SMS Count (used/total available)

The SMS Count alert is displayed on the Alerts General Tile in TEAMS and provides a quick summary of the college’s SMS usage.

This alert helps users monitor how many SMS messages have already been used and how many are still pending or available within the current monthly allocation. It is designed to give staff a simple snapshot of SMS activity without needing to open a separate screen.

The SMS count is shown in two parts, separated by a slash (/):

• the number on the left shows the SMS messages already used for the current month
• the number on the right shows the total SMS allocation available for that month

This allows staff to quickly compare usage against the monthly limit and monitor whether the college is close to reaching its allocated SMS allowance.

Keeping an eye on the SMS Count is important for managing communication activity efficiently, especially when the college regularly sends bulk SMS messages for reminders, warnings, notifications, or student communication.

This alert provides a simple but useful reference point for monitoring monthly SMS activity in TEAMS.
